Philosophy

For the past 40 years, America’s growth has been dominated by what many call “sprawl” development. Unfortunately, this haphazard development gives rise to many unwanted problems—longer commutes, inefficient use of infrastructure and diminishing open space, just to name a few.

While we are supportive of growth, we recognize that land is an irreplaceable resource and feel that growth must be completed responsibly.

Our goal is to create the types of places that allow for vibrant communities where people can enjoy a high quality of life. We also believe this can be attained in a more environmentally responsible manner.

Our philosophy for achieving these more desirable results is based on the belief that a vital interrelationship exists between an environment's Physical Design, the user's  Sense of Community, and the neighborhood's Economic Sustainability.
